In this fictional musical the bride to be, Janet Van De Graaff, has decided to give up the stage for love. The herring producer, Feltzing, must stop the wedding and get his star back or he will be shot by the gangsters who are posing as pastry chefs. All while being accompanied by a variety of wedding guests and of course Janet’s confidant The Chaperone.
