Have you always wanted to be in a Theatre of Dare (or other amateur theater) production, but been too intimidated by the thought of actually auditioning for it? Have you auditioned, but not had any luck at this point? Do you often wonder how directors make their casting decisions?

Well, this free audition workshop is a great way to get 'behind the curtain' on the amateur theater audition process. How to prepare, what to expect, what directors look for when casting their shows. We'll cover auditioning for straight plays and musicals, do some audition exercises (acting, singing and dancing) and get tips and tricks from a few of Theatre of Dare's most prolific actors and directors.

The workshop is open to all ages 12 and up. So, come on out an enjoy a free-wheeling, casual workshop and learn to conquer your fears and get on stage with us!
