President
Stuart Parks II
Stuart Parks II has been a mainstay on the Theatre of Dare stage for more than a decade. By day he is an archivist at the Outer Banks History Center in Manteo, and at night he takes on the roles of a wide range of characters, including a rowdy mental patient in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, a bumbling King in Spamalot, and a sexy Sasquatch in Cabaret. He’s already served two terms on the board, but somehow still has not learned his lesson, so he’s back for another go.

Vice President
EVAN TILLETT
Evan is a Dare County native who has been an integral part of our organization since his debut in Cabaret in 2018. He has since acted in productions such as The Rocky Horror Show (twice), The Last Five Years, and Exit, Pursued by a Bear. He has directed Five Women Wearing the Same Dress, assistant directed The Diaries of Adam & Eve, and will be directing the upcoming August: Osage County. He has been an active board member since 2020 and we have been stuck with him ever since.

Treasurer
DAMON HORAK
Damon Horak is a newly elected Board member. Often referred to as the Phantom of the Theatre, you may have seen him around. He is a theatre arts extraordinaire with experience in directing, acting, choreographing, music directing and various technical aspects. Damon is proud to be sitting on the Board of Directors with such great members of this wonderful community organization!

Board Member
BERT PLANTE
Bert moved to the area in 2011 to manage the USFWS fire program across NC. Finding a need for some real excitement, he joined TOD in time to perform in One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Many shows and tasks later, he finds himself on the board and looking forward to pushing our group further into the 21st century, even if he'll need to be dragged kicking and screaming there personally.
