It's Christmas Eve, which for children all over the world means getting into bed and letting the sugar plums take them into Christmas Morning!

 

But at the North Pole, it's the one day a year where the elves don't have any work to do. Which means it's their annual party! The egg nog is flowing, karaoke is growing louder, Santa may be trying to sleep but typical elf banter is at play all around the workshop.

 

Only one issue: Mischievous Martha!

AUDITION INFORMATION:

Get ready for the ultimate Christmas Party! Santa’s elves are ready to let off steam after a busy season in the workshop, and they’d like to invite you to be a part of it. Join us as one of the elves, a performer, or both!

​

Auditions will be held on October 23 & 24 at 6 p.m. at the theater.

SPEAKING ROLES (come prepared to read scenes):

​

SANTA CLAUS - Jolly ol’ St. Nick. During most of the show he is a little grumpy since he's trying to sleep.
MRS. CLAUS - Classic. A little forgetful.
MISHEVIOUS MARTHA - She was banished from the factory for making potions and attempting to steal Santa's Magic. She will disguise herself as a doctor and adding a really bad accent.
DANISH HOHORACK - Head of the Workshop Elf. Host of the evening. Trying to keep things running as smoothly as possible.
ADVENT ANTLER (Voiceover) - The North Pole Radio Elf. Classic radio style.
NOEL NUTMEG - The Baker Elf. Sweet and naive.

CAROL COCOA - The mining Elf. Very clumsy. Very funny. Has a crush on Happy.

HAPPY HAM - The Nerd Elf. Talks fast and is very smart.

BUBBLES BETHLEHAM - The Sewing Elf. The mean girl.

HOLLY HOLIDAY - The Toymaking Elf. She should always have a small radio with her to listen to her crush, Advent.

FAITH FIRESIDE - The Painting Elf. Sarcastic and witty. Has a crush on Frosty.

RALPHIE REJOICFUL - The Handyman Elf. Average Joe elf.

FROSTY FUNNLER - The Security Elf. Secret Service like professionalism. But also Dwayne Johnson-y.

PERFORMERS: 
 

Please prepare a Christmas song and/or dance number and provide a backing track. Now, this doesn’t have to be a “real” Christmas song (although it can be!)- any genre or type of song is acceptable as long as it is made Christmassy and Family Friendly. Examples: “Its the Final Countdown” but the chorus is changed to “Its the Christmas Countdown”, “Send in the Clowns” but its adjusted to say “Send in the Reindeer”,“Hit me Baby One More Time” but it’s adjusted to “Give me One More Candy Cane.” Dance numbers can be choreographed to any Christmas song, with lyrics or instrumental.
