Two LOL comedy productions take the stage in Kitty Hawk on Wednesday nights in July and August!

Get out of the heat and into the theater this summer as Theatre of Dare presents two family-friendly, laugh out loud comedies to give our visitors and locals an evening of live air-conditioned entertainment!

First, celebrate "Christmas in July" on the Outer Banks as we present the hilarious yuletide production Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!), in which three actors take a madcamp romp through holiday stories familiar and foreign, from Scrooge to the Griinch to Frosty to Iceland's mischevious Christmas trolls.
Then, we put away the holiday decorations and break out the tights in August for The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), where a second group of madcap actors take on the challenge of performing all 37 of The Bard's plays in 97 minutes. Fast paced, witty and physical, it's a show full of laughter for Shakespeare lovers and haters alike!
