Our 2026-27 Mainstage Season will be:

-
Happy Birthday, Wanda June - (September 18-28) by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. - Kurt Vonnegut’s dark satirical play about Harold Ryan, a toxic, Hemingway-esque big-game hunter who returns home after being presumed dead for years. He finds his wife, Penelope, has moved on with passive suitors, highlighting a conflict between old-fashioned, violent masculinity and modern, peaceful, post-Vietnam American culture.
 -
House on Haunted Hill - (November 6-15) by Tommy Jamerson. Eccentric millionaire Frederick Loren offers five strangers $10,000 each to survive a night locked in a notoriously haunted mansion. Tensions rise between Loren and his wife, Annabelle, amidst ghostly occurrences, double-crosses, and murderous plots.
-
Reefer Madness: The Musical - (February 5-14) by Dan Studney & Kevin Murphy - Inspired by the original 1936 film of the same name, this raucous musical comedy takes a tongue-in-cheek look at the hysteria caused when clean-cut kids fall prey to marijuana, leading them on a hysterical downward spiral filled with evil jazz music, sex and violence.
-
Moon Over Buffalo- (March 26-April 4) by Ken Ludwig - A chaotic 1950s-set farce about George and Charlotte Hay, fading actors managing a failing repertory company in Buffalo, New York. On the brink of divorce, they receive a final chance at fame when director Frank Capra comes to see their matinee. The plot devolves into chaos featuring mistaken identities, drunken mistakes, and wrong scripts.
-
A Year With Frog & Toad- (May 14-23) by Robert & Willie Reale · Based on Arnold Lobel's well-loved books, and featuring a hummable score by Robert and Willie Reale, this whimsical show follows two great friends – the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons.
A Premium Season Plan also includes tickets to our Off ToDWay production at Dare Arts in Manteo:
-
Marjorie Prime- (March 12-21) by Jordan Harrison · It’s the age of artificial intelligence, and 85-year-old Marjorie – a jumble of disparate, fading memories – has a handsome new companion who’s programmed to feed the story of her life back to her. What would we remember, and what would we forget, if given the chance?
Both Season Ticket Plans include early access to purchase tickets for our second stage Off ToDWay 'Dinner & A Show' production at the Black Pelican Restaurant in Kitty Hawk:
-
Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow by Halley Fieffer - (January 8-17) Ever since their brother Andrey gambled away the family fortune, Olga, Masha, and Irina have been doomed to the boredom of the Russian countryside. One day soon, they hope, they’ll return home to Moscow and live the exciting lives they were always meant to have. In this contemporary twist on Chekhov’s Three Sisters, one delightfully dysfunctional family navigates the absurdity of class, culture, and love.
Finally, Season Ticket holders will be invited to our Season Reveal Soiree, which usually takes place in April. There, you will mingle with other season ticket holders, munch on complimentary snacks, and get first glance at the line-up for the 2027 - 2028 season!
A confirmation email will be sent directly to you after purchase stating that you will be contacted ONE MONTH PRIOR to each production to choose which date you would like to attend. Please note, date selections are final and cannot be altered. Please be thorough and choose wisely. You must choose your date of attendance electronically before going to the theater. If you come to the theater without a reservation, it may result in missing the production.

Season tickets will only be available through August 19, 2026.
