Experience the thrill of theatre at our two-week intensive theatre camp for teens! Designed
for dedicated young performers, this immersive program takes students through the full
production process of a professionally staged show—from first read-through to final
curtain call.
Campers will audition, rehearse, and perform for a paying public audience,
gaining real-world experience both onstage and behind the scenes. In addition to acting
and performance training, students will collaborate on set, costume, and prop design,
learning how technical elements shape storytelling and support character and style.
Being in the spotlight not your thing? No problem! Learn and refine your tech skills as a stage
manager, sound technician, props master, and so much more! Teens will work as a true
production company, developing discipline, teamwork, and confidence.

The camp concludes with multiple public performances of AMERICAN HISTORY IN 60, a fully
realized, professionally procured production, giving students an unforgettable taste of what
it means to create bold, unforgettable theatre.

AMERICAN HISTORY IN 60 is a lightning-fast, laugh-out-loud comedy that takes audiences on a madcap journey through the story of America. Led by the pompous Professor Bartholomew T. Featherstone and a ragtag group of “historians,” the show races through Columbus, Pilgrims, Founding Fathers, the Revolution, the Civil War, the Great Depression, and beyond—all before the clock runs out. With pop culture mash-ups, game show parodies, and sportscaster-style Revolutionary War commentary, history has never been told quite like this.
