For the first time ever, Theatre of Dare is doing a dinner theatre show!
​
The Off-ToDWay production of Now and Then will be held upstairs at the Black Pelican Restaurant in Kitty Hawk. When purchasing a ticket, you'll have the option to buy a 'Dinner and a Show' or a 'Show Only' ticket.
​
'Dinner and a show' tickets will cost $55 and will include bread, a choice of entree (Vegetarian Pasta, Chicken Marsala or Blackened Mahi), dessert and a non-alcoholic beverage (alcohol can be purchased separately). Those purchasing dinner and a show are encouraged to be seated by 6 p.m. (12;30 p.m. for the Sunday matinees) so there is ample time to eat before going upstairs where the play will be performed.
'Show Only' tickets will cost $15.

Tickets go on sale December 20. Those purchasing 'Dinner and a Show' tickets will be contacted by a Theatre of Dare representative to ask for your entree choice so that the kitchen will be prepared for your arrival.

Sometimes what happens after last call just might change your life.
One night in 1981, just as a young bartender is closing up, a desperate last-minute customer offers him and his girlfriend two thousand dollars to sit and have a drink with him. Who wouldn't take
it? The trio swap stories, and the young couple consider the choices they've made together, and what kind of choices they may have to make in the future.
They begin to realize that this older man is unusually invested in their lives... and the reason he gives them is completely unbelievable. But when a very displeased second stranger arrives, the unbelievable begins to look like it just might be true.
Now and Then is a heartfelt romantic comedy about the costs of the choices we make,
and the people who make them with us.
