This summer, Theatre of Dare and Porkchop Productions are teaming up to bring you SIX different Children's Theater Summer Camp sessions, each with its own unique theme, tailored to specific age groups and specific interests. Each session will conclude with a combined performance.

Each camp consists of two sessions: 9-11:30 a.m. for ages 6-10 and 12-2:30 p.m. for ages 11-17. On the final day of each session, both groups will meet at 10 a.m. for a final run through the week's performance, with the combined performance beginning at 11 a.m.

 

The cost for each session ranges between $185 - $225 per participant, depending on which session is chosen.

ABOUT PORKCHOP PRODUCTIONS

Founded in 1991, Porkchop Productions is a professional touring children’s theatre company that tours extensively throughout the southeast. ABOUT STACEY MAXWELL

A native of South Carolina, Stacey holds a BA in speech/drama with an emphasis in children’s theatre from Columbia College. Throughout her career, Stacey has worked for many professional children’s theatre companies, is an active voice over artist, and spent six summers at The Lost Colony Outdoor Drama, where she held several positions including two years in the role of Agona. Stacey founded Porkchop Productions Children’s Theatre in 1991, and serves as Artistic Director, playwright, teaching artist and actor. Stacey received the Career Achievement Award from Columbia College in 2014, along with the Evelyn Russell Layton Award in 1992, and the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2015 from The Lost Colony.

Our thanks to the Dare County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council for giving us funds to provide scholarships for one to two students per camp session. More information is provided during the registration process.
